In the midweek Slovak Cup clash at Jazdecký areál Tatranská Lomnica, the 20-year-old Nigerian forward displayed his brilliance, netting twice in just ten minutes, Footballrover reports.
His electrifying display set the tone for Ľubovňa’s emphatic away win.
Daneji wasted no time making his mark, striking first in the 19th minute and doubling his tally just ten minutes later.
His brace put the visitors in firm control as they headed into the halftime break with a comfortable lead.
The second half turned into a more cautious affair, but the floodgates opened again in the final minutes.
Dominik Orsag added a third goal in the 85th minute, and Gabriel Halabrin sealed the deal with a fourth just three minutes later, ensuring Ľubovňa’s smooth passage to the next round of the Slovak Cup.
This commanding win at Starý Smokovec was Stará Ľubovňa’s second victory in five games, following a tough spell of two defeats and a draw. It’s also their second consecutive triumph, boosting the team’s morale.
Up next, Daneji and his teammates will carry this momentum to Pasienky Stadium, where they face Slovan Bratislava B on Sunday in matchday six of the Slovakia 2. Liga.
