The Group F World Cup match between Morocco and Croatia ended in a disappointing stalemate at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
Croatia entered the tournament in good shape after winning their qualifying group. They had gone six games without losing in all competitions, winning their last five (D1).
While Morocco is competing in their sixth World Cup and second straight after being eliminated in the group stages of 2018.
With only two shots on goal for each team during the game, there wasn’t much to differentiate the sides.

Perisic, Modric, and Vlasic all missed first-half opportunities for Croatia, although Vlasic did force Bounou into a strong stop.
After the break, Hakimi’s potent long-range shot was stopped by Livakovic before Mazraoui’s leaping header was blocked by the goalkeeper.
A goalless tie between Morocco and Croatia was the third 0-0 result in this year’s World Cup, as no African nation is yet to score in the championship game in Qatar.
Morocco and Croatia both have just one point as they kickoff Group F. Both of the upcoming matchesβMorocco versus Belgium and Croatia versus Canadaβwill be played on Sunday.
