Remo Stars coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has expressed his team’s readiness for the second leg of their CAF Champions League tie against AS FAR of Morocco.
Speaking ahead of the match, coach Dan acknowledged the expected hostile atmosphere both on and off the pitch in Morocco, Footballrover reports.
He claimed that his team is aware of the daunting task ahead, given AS FAR’s reputation for aggressive play and hostile home crowds.
The Nigerian side, who secured a narrow win in the first leg, will be looking to secure a place in the next round of the prestigious African competition, and Coach Dan is confident in his team’s ability to handle any challenge that might come their way.
“First, I’ll like to talk about what we expect from them. We expect a lot of hostility that they are used to both on and off the pitch, their antics; we are ready for that. We’ll be so prepared for it as much as we can,” the coach said.
Remo Stars began their CAF Champions League campaign with a victory over AS FAR in the first leg of the preliminary round.
The Nigerian team won 2-1 at home, surprising the Moroccan giants.
