The Nigerian forward Monday Etim is gradually heating up the Danish 1st Division—and fast. He once again proved decisive as Hillerød edged past Boldklubben af 1893 (B.93) in a thrilling 2-1 away victory on Friday evening.

Etim’s match-winning strike, his second goal of the campaign, helped Hillerød maintain their unbeaten start to the season and solidify their early top spot, Footballrover reports.

Monday Etim Doubles Hillerød’s Lead After Arndal’s Opener

The Round 3 clash at Sundby Idrætspark saw Hillerød come out firing, and they wasted no time asserting dominance.

Tobias Arndal broke the deadlock in the 21st minute, finishing coolly after a slick assist from Victor Dedes.

Just 13 minutes later, Arndal turned provider. He squared the ball perfectly for Monday Etim, who calmly slotted it home in the 34th minute—doubling Hillerød’s lead with clinical precision.

B 93, however, wasn’t going down without a fight. Mikkel Wohlgemuth pulled one back in the 43rd minute, giving the home fans hope of a comeback.

Boldklubben 1893 Push Late, but Hillerød Holds On

The second half offered fewer sparks but more tactical grit.

Etim was subbed off for Mathias Veltz right after the restart, and the visitors shifted into game-management mode.

Despite pressure from Boldklubben, Hillerod held firm to secure all three points and continue their impressive start to the 2025/26 season.

Now unbeaten in three matches—with two wins and a draw—Hillerod sits comfortably at the top of the table.

Etim, already a fan favourite after his 14-goal debut season, is once again making headlines.
