Just six days after their heartbreaking exit from the CAF Champions League, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Remo Stars has gone all out to announce the signing of 15 new players ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The Sky Blue Stars saw their dreams of continental glory dashed once again at the hands of Moroccan giants AS FAR, Footballrover reports.
A tough 2-0 defeat in Morocco sealed their fate, resulting in a 3-2 aggregate loss that knocked them out of the competition last Sunday.
Determined to bounce back stronger and dominate the upcoming NPFL season, Remo Stars have embarked on an ambitious recruitment drive to fortify their squad.

Under the leadership of Daniel Ogunmodede, the club is pulling out all the stops to not only clinch the NPFL title but also make a triumphant return to the continental stage next season.
The 15 new signings include seasoned talents, well-known names, and fresh faces.
Among the key additions are ThankGod Ikeagwu and Ismael Souley from Kwara United; Chiemeka Nwokeji from Sporting Lagos; Alex Oyowah from Rivers United; Faisal Sani from Kano Pillars; Ifeanyi Anaemena from Abia Warriors; and Shuaib Ibrahim from AS Police.
Adding even more firepower to the squad, Remo Stars have also brought in Adebiyi Obassa from Coton Sport, Michael Ani Emmanuel from Green Sport FC Abuja, and a promising quartet of Malik Jabbar, Shuaibu Abdulrasaq, Joseph Abah, and Oluwasegun Aremu, who were signed from non-league clubs.
Remo Stars are set to kick off their campaign with a highly anticipated clash against Abia Warriors.

While the NPFL season officially begins on Saturday, only Enugu Rangers will be in action against El-Kanemi Warriors, with the rest of the matches slated for the following weekend.
With these bold new signings, Remo Stars have made their intentions clear: they are gunning for glory in the domestic league after finishing in second place in their last two seasons.
Buckle up, NPFL fans—this season might just be one for the history books for the Ikenne Boys!
