Super Eagles star Cyriel Dessers has continued his fine form this season, scoring a well-taken brace in the Scottish Cup semi-final to send his team Rangers to the final ahead of Hearts.
In the exciting Sunday Scottish Cup semi-final match, Super Eagles striker stole the show with a stunning double, propelling Rangers FC into the final with a convincing 2-0 win over Hearts, Footballrover reports.
The 29-year-old Nigerian forward, recalled to the starting lineup by Philippe Clement, made an immediate impact, breaking the deadlock in the fifth minute with a brilliant individual effort.

Dessers’ first goal was a brilliant show of skills and finesse, as he expertly dropped his opponent with a body feint before slotting the ball into the bottom corner with his left foot.
The second goal, scored with thirteen minutes remaining, was yet another clinical finish and clever teamwork with Todd Cantwell.

Cantwell’s mazy run and selfless pass found Dessers, who capitalised on the opportunity, scoring the rebound after Craig Gordon’s initial save.
This impressive performance cements Dessers’ vital role in Rangers FC’s success, with nineteen goals and eight assists in 47 games this season, and he should have scored more with his six shots in the game.
