Super Eagles forward – Odion Ighalo is currently on fire after scoring a hat-trick in the first half to assist Al-Hilal thrash Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday night.
After scoring the game-winning goal in Al-Hilal’s 2-1 victory against their bitter rivals Al Ittihad last week Tuesday, the Super Eagles star has gone out to establish his value once more.
Al-Hilal won 4-2 and all three points over Al-Ahli thanks to the 32-year-old Nigerian’s three goals in the first half.

Just 11 minutes into the game, Ighalo gave the home side the lead. The attacker doubled his score 23 minutes later and made it 3-0 with seconds remaining in the first half.
13 minutes into second half, Moussa Marega scored a spectacular chip over the onrushing goalkeeper to make it 4-0 for Al-Hilal.
The visitors improved their battling spirit in the second half, and it paid off when Omar Al Somah converted a penalty in the 69th minute to bring one back for Al-Ahli.
Macedonian winger, Ezgjan Alioski then scored the visitors’ second goal in stoppage time to bring the score to 4-2 but it wasn’t enough to save his team from defeat.
It’s the final whistle 🔚

Saleh AlShehri came in six minutes before stoppage time to replace Odion Ighalo, who earned a standing ovation from the home crowd.
Ramón Diaz’s side, who are currently in second place, will be hoping to keep their winning streak going when they face Al-Shabab in the King Cup of Champions semi-finals on April 3rd.
Al-Ahli, on the other hand, will be counting their losses after finishing in 10th place with 28 points.
