Victor Udoh has completed his move from Southampton to Czech club Dynamo České Budějovice, sealing a long-term deal as he looks to secure regular senior football and revive his promising European journey.
The 21-year-old Nigerian forward becomes the latest addition to the South Bohemians’ squad, following the recent arrival of Olamelekan Adams.
Victor Udoh Targets Fresh Start at Dynamo České Budějovice
His transfer is part of a growing recruitment drive, with Dynamo Budějovice building a competitive team for the Czech second division campaign.
Victor Udoh left Southampton by mutual consent in September after limited first-team chances in England.
The forward had joined the Saints in February 2025 from Royal Antwerp, initially featuring for the development squad, but the pathway to regular action proved difficult.
From Antwerp to England to Czech Republic: A Bold Career Move
Udoh first moved to Europe in March 2023 with Belgian giants Royal Antwerp, making 24 appearances across two seasons.
His time in Belgium and England has shaped him into a versatile left-footed winger and striker, now determined to grow in a league where he will see more minutes.
He has signed with Dynamo České Budějovice until 2028, giving both club and player time to build a long-term project.
Sporting director Michaël Michée praised the signing, describing Udoh as “a young attacker with valuable experience from Belgium and England who will strengthen our frontline.”
Victor Udoh also expressed excitement at the move, saying he is eager to embrace the challenge and make an impact for the club’s supporters in České Budějovice.
“I’m very happy to be here. I’m looking forward to the new challenge, I’m looking forward to the Dynamo fans. I’ve only heard good things about them, I believe we will make them happy,” Victor Udoh told the club media.
