Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu stole the spotlight with a breathtaking 18-minute hat-trick, guiding his team, Trabzonspor, to a sensational 4-2 victory over Gaziantep FK in a Turkish Super Lig showdown on Sunday.

In the exciting encounter at Papara Park in Trabzon, Trabzonspor found themselves trailing 2-0 at halftime, courtesy of goals from Deian Cristian Sorescu and Denis Drăguş, Footballrover reports.

However, the second half witnessed a remarkable turnaround, fueled by Onuachu’s remarkable display.

Just five minutes into the second period, Onuachu ignited the comeback, slotting home a clinical finish after a precise cross from the right flank.

His goal injected renewed hope into the Trabzonspor camp.

The Nigerian forward then showed his creative strength once again, setting up Enis Bardhi for the equaliser in the 65th minute before grabbing his double a minute later.

However, Onuachu wasn’t finished yet. With 68 minutes on the clock, he delivered a moment of sheer brilliance, unleashing a thunderous strike into the top corner after controlling a cross with his chest, leaving the opposition defence helpless.

This remarkable performance marks Onuachu’s first hat-trick for Trabzonspor since joining them on loan from Southampton.
