Just before halftime, the hosts doubled their lead under dramatic circumstances.

A handball by Ramzi Safuri inside the box initially went unnoticed, but after a VAR review, the referee awarded Galatasaray a penalty.

Osimhen, the team’s primary spot-kick taker, selflessly handed the responsibility to Morata, who converted with ease.
