Victor Osimhen continued his impressive form in the Turkish Super Lig, delivering his ninth goal contribution of the season in Galatasaray’s 2-2 home draw against Eyupspor on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker’s assist marked another crucial involvement for his team, but it wasn’t enough to secure all three points, Footballrover reports.

Osimhen, on loan from Napoli, has been a standout performer for Galatasaray this season.

In just eight league appearances, he has scored six goals and provided three assists as he continues to influence games consistently.

His contributions in Galatasaray’s last two matches also highlight his critical role in the club’s attack.

In the match at RAMS Park, Eyupspor stunned the home crowd early when Emre Akbaba put the visitors ahead in the 13th minute.

Galatasaray, somehow, equalised just before halftime through Baris Alper Yilmaz, keeping the contest balanced heading into the second half.

Two minutes after the restart, Osimhen displayed his creative flair, setting up Rolland Sallai to give the hosts a 2-1 advantage.

However, Galatasaray’s defence faltered again, allowing Prince Ampem to level the score in the 71st minute, leaving the game tied at full time.

Despite the disappointment of the draw, Galatasaray remains at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table with 35 points, holding a six-point lead over Fenerbahce, who have a game in hand.

Victor Osimhen’s contributions have been crucial to the team’s dominance this season as he continues to push the team a step further in their Super Lig title chase.
