Stephen Odey net consolation goal as Leicester City hammer Randers

Nigerian forward, Stephen Odey grabbed a consolation goal when his side – Randers suffered a heavy defeat against Premier League side – Leicester City.

With goals from Harvey Barnes and James Maddison, Leicester City qualified for the next round of the European Conference League, with a 7-2 win on aggregate.

Leicester’s dreams of winning silverware were kept alive thanks to two superb goals from James Maddison as they won their first away game since October and advanced to the Europa Conference League’s last 16 round.

Randers created countless opportunities but were sloppy in front of goal, and they also faced Kasper Schmeichel in fine form after Harvey Barnes put Leicester City ahead after only two minutes.

Maddison, who had done nothing beforehand, scored a superb free-kick from 20 yards with 20 minutes left, then four minutes later, he scored from a similar spot.

After Kasper Schmeichel’s blunder in the 84th minute, Stephen Odey scored a consolation goal for Randers.
