Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho notched his first league goal of the season to help Leicester City cruise past Norwich City with a convincing victory.
The 26-year-old grabbed a first-half goal through a spot kick as Leicester City secured a 2-0 away win during their Championship game at Carrow Road on Wednesday night.
The penalty was conceded by Norwich City star Christian Fassnacht after a foul in the 18-yard area.
The Nigerian international stepped up and coolly converted the penalty with a left-footed shot to the high centre of the goal.
The forward easily converted his penalty past Norwich’s Angus Gunn to give Leicester a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Norwich City’s hope of a bounceback was dashed when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall combined beautifully with Kasey McAteer to double the lead for the visitors.
And that sealed the win and three points for Enzo Maresca’s men, despite being awarded additional nine minutes after the 90-minute regulation time.
With his first goal of the season coming against Norwich City, the Nigerian star now has four goals in eight appearances in all competitions for Leicester City this season.
The narrow victory takes Kelechi Iheanacho and his Leicester City side to second place on the table with 18 points, just one point behind league leaders Preston.
While Norwich City remain in 5th with 13 points,
Leicester City will host Bristol City next at King Power Stadium, while Norwich will visit Plymouth Argyle the same day, hoping to bounce back from the home defeat.
