Sadiq Umar scored his 17th goal of the season to lead UD Almeria to a home victory over UD Amorebiata in the Spanish Segunda Division.

After a goalless first half, UD Amorebiata trailed by four goals in the second half, with Almeria taking the lead in the 54th minute courtesy to an own goal by Andoni Lopez.

The own goal by the Spanish left-back put the Joan Francesc side ahead, and Srdan Babic doubled their advantage in the 75th minute.

After a VAR review, the home side was handed a penalty in the 83rd minute, providing an opportunity to double their lead.

The Super Eagles forward, though, missed the 12-yard spot kick.

In the 89th minute, the UD Almeria top scorer made up for the missed penalty by scoring his 17th goal of the season in the Spanish second division.
