FC Porto on Saturday won the Portuguese Primeira Liga title with a 1-0 victory over Benfica courtesy of a 94th minute goal from Zaidu Sanusi.
The Super Eagles left-back delivered the game-winning goal, his third of the season as FC Porto grabbed their 30th league title in Lisbon.
FC Porto won the league title with 88 points after 33 games, just six points ahead of second-placed Sporting and 17 points clear of third-placed Benfica.

Just six minutes into second half the hosts found the back of the net and thought they’ve taken the lead when Darwin Nunez slotted home a stunning effort from Nicolás Otamendi pass, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.
After a scoreless first half and a solid second half performance from both teams, Zaidu Sanusi, 24, stole the show in the fourth minute of extra time.
Following a brilliant counterattack by Pepe Aquino resulting from a corner kick, Zaidu landed his shot into the top corner of the post, beyond the grasp of the onrushing goalkeeper
FC Porto, who has 28 victories, four ties, and one loss this season, will be looking to conclude the season on a high note when they face Estoril Praia on May 15.
