Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide produced an impressive performance on Thursday evening, finding the back of the net for AS Roma in their Coppa Italia Women semi-final first-leg clash against Inter at the Stadio Tre Fontane.
Despite scoring the opening goal of the encounter, the Nigerian international was unable to prevent her side from surrendering their slim lead, as the match eventually ended in a 1–1 draw, Footballrover reports.

With her strike against Inter, Babajide has now taken her total goal contributions this season to seven — four goals and three assists across all competitions.
The 27-year-old forward has registered two goals and one assist in the Serie A Femminile, one goal in the Serie A Women’s Cup, two assists in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and one goal in the Coppa Italia Women.
Her first two league goals came against Parma Calcio 1913 in both the home and away fixtures before she added another strike against Inter.
Babajide featured for 77 minutes before she was replaced by Emilie Haavi.

The match was a cagey affair, with both sides struggling to convert their chances as the first half ended goalless.
Seven minutes into the second half, Babajide finally broke the deadlock, putting Roma ahead with a well-taken finish.
However, three minutes before stoppage time, the home side conceded a penalty and Tessa Wullaert stepped up to calmly convert from the spot, leveling the score at 1–1.
Roma and Inter will meet again for the return leg on March 28. Before that clash, they will turn their attention back to league action, where Roma face Fiorentina and Inter take on Lazio in the Serie A Femminile.
