Remo Stars have successfully hijacked Lobi Stars’ transfer target, Samad Kadiri, as they prepare for the upcoming CAF Champions League and Nigeria Premier Football League campaigns.
The 27-year-old striker, valued at €150k by the transfer market, completed his move to Remo Stars on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Kwara United, where he spent last season.
Samad Kadiri’s football journey has been a whirlwind, starting at Bayelsa United in 2014 before making a switch to Sunshine Stars after two years.
However, his stay at the Akure-based club was short-lived as he soon moved to Lobi Stars, where he spent three fruitful campaigns before joining Enyimba.
Samad Kadiri is a strange player. He scored Enyimba's first goal of the season {MD1}, then waits until MD38 to score his second goal of the season. ????#NPFL21 #NPFLFinalDay pic.twitter.com/7rJ0Tb7Umq

The forward then embarked on a brief stint at Al-Ahed in the Lebanese Premier League before returning to Kwara United for the 2022/23 campaign.
Remo Stars’ coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has been making strategic moves to prepare his squad for the challenges that lie ahead in both domestic and continental competitions.
The recruitment of Samad Kadiri adds firepower to their attacking arsenal ahead of the upcoming season.
With an official announcement expected soon, it is no doubt that the new Remo Stars striker will bring in huge contribution to the team’s success.
Kadiri’s signing comes as the team look set for a crucial first-round clash against Ghanaian champions Medeama SC in the CAF Champions League next month.
