Super Eagles duo Paul Onuachu and Anthony Nwakaeme delivered impressive performances on Tuesday evening, with both finding the net to inspire Trabzonspor to a commanding 3–0 victory over Fethiyespor in Turkish Cup Group A.

The round-three clash at Papara Park saw the hosts score three goals within a blistering 10-minute spell in the second half to put the game beyond doubt, Footballrover reports.

Onuachu netted the second goal of the contest, while Nwakaeme provided the opening goal and capped the scoring as Trabzonspor comfortably swept aside their visitors.

While Nwakaeme started the match, Onuachu was introduced at the start of the second half in place of Felipe Augusto.

The Nigerian striker needed just 31 minutes on the pitch to make his impact, once again proving his value.

Ernest Muci broke the deadlock in the 69th minute after Fethiyespor had a goal ruled out for offside.

That strike shattered the visitors’ resistance, and they were unable to stop Onuachu from tapping home a simple finish in the 77th minute.

The goal was Onuachu’s 14th of the season, extending his scoring run to four consecutive matches.

Two minutes later, Nwakaeme sealed the result with a thunderous strike, ensuring Trabzonspor cruised to a 3–0 victory.

It was also the veteran Super Eagles star’s first goal of the season in all competitions.

However, the win lifted Trabzonspor to six points in the group, while Fethiyespor remained on one point.
