Nigeria’s brightest young footballers will be looking set to light up the inaugural NPFL Youth League, with zonal qualifiers hitting five cities across the nation as early as tomorrow, January 31st!
All 20 NPFL clubs will field their U-17 squads, battling it out for regional supremacy in Lafia (North Central), Kaduna (Northwest and Northeast), Ekiti (Southwest), Enugu (Southeast), and Port Harcourt (South South), Footballrover reports.
Fixtures kick off at a crisp 8 a.m. and conclude by noon at each centre, promising non-stop football action.
Building a Brighter Future: NPFL Youth League Takes Centre Stage
“This league is about establishing a solid youth development culture for the NPFL,” asserts Emeka Inyama, Chairman of the NPFL Youth League.
He stressed that;
“It’s the lifeblood of any top league worldwide, and we’re fully committed to its success. Participation is mandatory for all 20 clubs, and we’re eager to witness a fierce yet healthy competition.”
