Both De Cardinals and Cynosure Feeders delivered a fierce battle, while Benedi United earned a hard-fought victory over YWAM Impact, Footballrover reports.
De Cardinals and Cynosure Feeders Settle for a Draw
The highly anticipated clash between the zone’s top two sides lived up to its billing.
In the 21st minute, De Cardinals took the lead when Paul Benedict rose highest to head home a precise corner delivery from Lenee Mtamabari.
The early breakthrough gave the league leaders confidence as they controlled much of the first half.
However, Cynosure refused to give in. With just nine minutes left on the clock, Miracle Azi once again proved his quality, pouncing inside the box to fire home the equaliser.
The late strike ensured Cynosure earned a share of the spoils and kept the pressure on the group leaders until the final whistle.
Benedi United Edge YWAM Impact
In the second fixture of the day, Benedi United got off to the perfect start. Just five minutes in, Hassan Suleiman converted from close range to hand his side the lead against YWAM Impact.
Despite a spirited effort from both sides, Benedi United held firm, securing all three points and ending their group stage campaign on a high note.

The NLO U19 Youth League Port Harcourt zone ended with thrills, surprises, and a tight race at the top.

De Cardinals maintained their unbeaten run, finishing with ten points, while Cynosure showed resilience but could only finish in second place, two points behind.
Benedi United’s win also gave them some momentum, but a third-place finish with five points was all they could gather.
Dolphins Academy FA finished in 4th place with just four points, while YWAM Impact had a disappointing outing with no points at all.
