In the opening fixture of the day, Cardinals showed once again why they are league leaders.

Epa Royalty proved to be the difference-maker, ghosting into the box unmarked in the 37th minute to meet a teasing delivery with a precise header that nestled into the net.

That goal ultimately secured all three points for the table-toppers, giving them three wins from three matches in the NLO U19 Youth League.

Their flawless start has them in pole position heading into the decisive final matchday.

Cynosure Edge Dolphins in Dramatic 5-Goal Thriller

The second fixture produced the kind of action that leaves fans on their feet, cheering every attack.

It took Cynosure Feeders just ten minutes to break the deadlock when Miracle Azi planted a superb header into the net from Felix Victor’s cross.

Five minutes later, Daniel Olowogunle reacted quickest in the box to stab home from close range, bringing Dolphin Academy FA level after their early setback.

By the 32nd minute, Dolphins had completed the turnaround as Chukwuebuka Ozuzu bundled the ball over the line from inside the six-yard box.

They held onto that slim lead into the break, with the battle resuming fiercely after the interval.

In the 71st minute, Miracle Azi struck again for Cynosure, poking home after a goalmouth scramble to restore parity.

And with seconds remaining, Samuel Chibueze fired into the bottom corner, sealing a thrilling 3-2 win that keeps Cynosure firmly in the title race.
