E-World United FC’s shot-stopper Najeeb Saad has his eyes firmly set on the Nigeria Premier Football League, and his story is one every young player will find inspiring.

After guiding E-World United to promotion from the Nationwide League One (NLO) to Nigeria National League (NNL), Saad now dreams of playing for some of Nigeria’s biggest clubs, Footballrover reports.
In an exclusive interview with Footballrover, the goalkeeper talks about his football journey so far and what drives him to aim higher.
Najeeb Saad: “It’s a Good Journey” to NPFL Dreams
Hailing from Taraba State, Saad joined E-World United FC just this season but wasted no time making an impact.

When asked about his journey so far, he simply said, “It’s a good journey.”
That journey took a huge leap forward when E-World United beat Ahudiyannem FC 2-1 in their final NLO playoffs game.
Before arriving in Port Harcourt, Saad and his teammates were clear on their goal. “First position,” he said without hesitation.
And finishing top brought pure joy: “I’m feeling happy right now.”
NPFL on the Horizon: Confidence, Teamwork and Big Targets
The goalkeeper’s confidence between the posts is clear for all to see. When asked what fuels it, Saad gave credit to those around him: “My teammates, I believe in them.”

Even after conceding a slip-induced goal against FC One Rocket, he shrugged it off: “I slipped; the pitch was slippery.”
With the Southern Zone wrapped up, the next stop for Saad and E-World United is the NLO Super Eight.
His target? “To win the Super Eight, of course.” He trusts his teammates just as much as they trust him: “I believe in my teammates; that’s why I have that confidence.”
Celebration followed the big win, with club owner Engr. Etim Okon promising a one million naira cash reward.
Saad is confident it will come through: “Yes! It will; I’m very sure about that. Even if he promised ten million naira, he will deliver.”
Aiming Higher: NPFL Clubs in Saad’s Sights
But Saad’s eyes are firmly on the NPFL. When asked if he dreams of Nigeria’s top league, his answer was clear: “Yes! That’s my dream: to play for Remo Stars, Kano Pillars, Rangers International or even Rivers United.”

And which would he choose first? “Remo Stars, I like the team; they have teamwork. I love the team.”
One special asset that sets him apart is his unique long throw — a skill that turns defence into attack in seconds: “That’s my asset. The wind usually disrupts the flow and speed; if not, it should get to the opponents box.”
As Najeeb Saad sets his sights on the NPFL, his journey from the NLO shows how belief, teamwork, and big dreams can open doors to Nigeria’s top league.
