Former Nigeria Premier League champions Rangers International have made a bold move to revive their glory days by signing teenage sensation Eni Daniel from Abakaliki FC.

Under the watch of coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, Enugu Rangers are banking on Daniel’s speed and versatility to power their title chase.
The official signing ceremony took place at the club’s corporate office in Enugu, where a visibly thrilled Daniel called the transfer a dream come true.
The Cross River-born winger, known for his skill on both flanks, made headlines with his standout performances for Abakaliki FC during the 2025 President Federation Cup.
Wearing jersey number 7, Daniel tormented Kwara United at the Onikan Stadium, even though his side narrowly missed lifting the trophy.

Speaking after signing his contract, Daniel said:
“Rangers is a very big club, and the dream of every footballer is to get the opportunity to defend the badge of this great club. I hope to make my positive contribution towards helping the team achieve its set targets this season.”
The eight-time NPFL champs plan to officially unveil Daniel and other new recruits in an elaborate media session soon.

After finishing a disappointing 10th place in the 2024/2025 campaign, the Coal City side are eager to bounce back stronger and reclaim their place at the top.
With Daniel now on board, fans will surely be hopeful of seeing the Flying Antelopes roar again and bring silverware back to Enugu.
