Nigerian teams continue to dazzle at the Gothia Cup 2025, with Sporting Lagos FA and Sporting Supreme maintaining unbeaten runs to top their groups and advance to the knockout rounds.

They finished top of their group with seven points after two wins and a draw, scoring five goals and conceding just two.

Ebube Emmanuel and Oluwaseun Akanji both sit as joint top scorers for Sporting Lagos with two goals each.

They’ll now face Swedish side IFK Norrköping in the knockout stage.

Sporting Supreme were ruthless once again, brushing aside IFK Skövde FK 3-0 at Slättadamm 1 to complete their group stage campaign with a perfect record.

Beyond Limits FA Secure Third Straight Win

Dago Grah Tehouan opened the scoring before Stanley Ogbonna Chizurum added a brace, bringing his tournament tally to four goals.

Sporting Supreme topped their group with nine points, scoring 15 goals and conceding none across three matches.

They will now prepare to battle Åtvidabergs FF next in the knockout round.
