Hillerød fans had high hopes over the weekend, but it turned into an evening they would want to forget in a hurry as Monday Etim’s early goal wasn’t enough to stop a heavy defeat in their latest preseason friendly with AaB.
Despite his fine strike, the visitors roared back to stun the home side 4-1 at the Hillerød Stadion, footballrover reports.

The 26-year-old Nigerian forward, known for his sharp finishing, gave Hillerød a bright start when he netted the opener in the 29th minute.
With his early goal against AaB, Etim looked ready to impress once again after delivering 11 goals and five assists last season.
However, AaB quickly silenced the home crowd when Mathias Jørgensen pulled them level just before the break.
Moments into the second half, Elison Makolli fired AaB ahead, turning the tide completely.

Bertram Skovgaard extended AaB’s lead minutes later, and Kelvin John wrapped up the ruthless comeback with a fourth goal, leaving Monday Etim and his teammates with no answers.
With their Denmark 1st Division opener against Middelfart set for 19th July, the pressure is on Hillerød to regroup fast.
The Nigerian player will aim to find his scoring boots again in their next friendly against Swedish side Helsingborg on Saturday.
The team must bounce back quickly to avoid more heartbreaks like this disappointing result against AaB.
