Sheffield Wednesday capitalise early to stun West Brom

West Bromwich Albion found themselves in trouble early on, falling behind 2-0 within the first 25 minutes, Footballrover reports.

A Darnell Furlong own goal, followed by a well-taken strike from Josh Windass, gave the hosts a commanding lead and left the Baggies with a mountain to climb.

However, West Brom refused to roll over. They clawed their way back into the match in the second half, with Maja sparking hope for a comeback in the 65th minute.

His precise finish halved the deficit, and when Alex Mowatt levelled the score at 2-2 in the 84th minute, it seemed like West Brom might steal a point.
