In a game of so much battle and emotion at Wembley Stadium, Southampton secured their return to the Premier League with a hard-fought victory over Leeds United, marking a triumphant comeback for Joe Aribo and his teammates. 
The Saints, under the guidance of manager Russell Martin, displayed so much resilience and determination, culminating in a memorable promotion from the Championship, Footballrover reports.
Southamptonās journey back to the top flight was anything but straightforward.

Despite missing out on automatic promotion spots to Leicester City and Ipswich Town, the Saints grabbed their opportunity in the playoffs, facing Daniel Farkeās Leeds United in a decisive showdown.
The match’s intensity was palpable from the start.
Southampton broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute following a brilliant series of passes that ended with William Smallbone setting up Adam Armstrong.
Armstrong expertly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, past Leedsā goalkeeper Ilian Meslier, igniting jubilation among the Saintsā fans.
Joe Aribo, instrumental in the midfield, provided a moment of brilliance in the 67th minute. 
His perfectly timed through-ball found Samuel Edozie, but the young winger’s shot sailed wide of the target.
Despite the miss, Aribo’s vision and passing were vital throughout the match.
Leeds United, determined to equalise, came closest in the 83rd minute when former Manchester United winger Daniel James struck the crossbar with a powerful volley.
But then, Southamptonās defence held firm, ensuring their slender lead remained intact until the final whistle.
The final whistle was met with ecstatic celebrations from the Southampton supporters as the reality of their promotion set in.

Joe Aribo now joins his Super Eagles teammates Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi to make a huge return to the Premier League.
The midfielder has been consistent with his performance throughout the season, even though he managed to contribute just six goals to the courseāfour goals and one assist.
However, he was not included in Finidi Georgeās Super Eagles squad for the upcoming matches against South Africa and Benin Republic.
