Super Falcons star Halimatu Ayinde may have shared the pitch in Rosengard’s 2-2 draw with Hammarby, but it was her heartfelt message afterwards that truly stole the spotlight.

Ayinde played the full 90 minutes in the Swedish Damallsvenskan clash, working tirelessly in midfield, Footballrover reports.
Halimatu Ayinde’s Perfect Welcome at Rosengard
However, she could only watch as Rosengard surrendered a 2-goal lead to settle for a share of the spoils at Malmö Idrottsplats on Tuesday evening.
Rosengard looked in control when Anam Imo opened the scoring in the 28th minute before Thea Sorbo doubled the advantage just before half-time.
But Hammarby hit back almost immediately after the restart, with Vilde Hasund and Vilma Koivisto scoring within four minutes of each other to make it 2-2.

It was after this dramatic contest that Ayinde posted her heartfelt note to the club and fans.
The WAFCON winner took to her social media platform to praise her new club’s atmosphere, putting relationships above results.
“Today showed me what really counts: not results but relationships. Your warm welcome after WAFCON was so perfect. THANK YOU, FC Rosengard. I’m so honoured to be here.
Hard moments prepare us for good moments. Drew today, but we’re coming stronger next game.”
From WAFCON Glory to Swedish Damallsvenskan
Fresh off winning the 2024 WAFCON with Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Ayinde is no stranger to high-pressure football.
She was part of the 4-2-3-1 formation that stunned host nation Morocco 3-2 in a thrilling final, securing Nigeria’s record-extending 10th continental title.
The 30-year-old midfielder played 59 minutes in that game, which saw Nigeria mount a dramatic second-half comeback after trailing 2-0 at halftime.

Goals from Esther Okoronkwo (penalty), Folashade Ijamilusi, and Jennifer Echegini turned the tide, sealing a memorable win in Rabat.
Since making her senior debut in 2015, Ayinde has earned 33 caps for the Super Falcons, having also represented Nigeria at U17 and U20 levels.
The midfielder will now channel her WAFCON-winning mentality into the next fixture against Kristianstad Women.
