Nigerian star, Fred Onyedinma, had an eventful two-minute stint during Rotherham United’s EFL Championship match against Blackburn on Saturday.
In the clash between Rotherham and Blackburn, Fred Onyedinma experienced a whirlwind two minutes – netting an impressive goal, receiving a booking, and ultimately being shown a red card.
Rotherham was already leading thanks to Hakeem Odoffin’s first-half goal when Fred Onyedinma brilliantly headed in to extend their advantage.
However, his fortunes quickly turned from hero to zero as he was sent off within a strange three-minute sequence after the halftime break.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward showcased his skills with a superb diving header from Cafu’s precise set-piece delivery.
Sadly, he found himself receiving a second yellow card merely two minutes after the initial booking, leaving the hosts with a numerical disadvantage for the final 50 minutes of play.

Referee Bobby Madley issued Onyedinma’s first booking due to his exuberant celebration of the goal, while the second yellow card triggered a furious reaction from Rotherham manager Matt Taylor, who also received a caution.
After this setback, Blackburn Rovers took control of possession, and their persistence finally paid off.
Sammie Szmodics emerged as the hero, redeeming his earlier penalty miss by scoring two vital goals.
Szmodics, the midfielder, capitalized on a deflected strike following a clever pass from Adam Wharton, reducing the deficit to 2-1.
He then demonstrated composure by converting a one-on-one opportunity, deftly rounding Viktor Johansson to secure a well-earned draw for his team.
Szmodics played a central role, although his day began on a sour note at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
His spot-kick hit the inside of the post after a foul by Cameron Humphreys on Joe Rankin-Costello, with the score deadlocked at 0-0.
