Born in Abia State, Nigeria, Okoronkwo moved to the U.S. at a very young age. She was raised in Richmond, Texas, where she attended John and Randolph Foster High School.

Her football journey began at Northeast Texas Community College before blossoming into a pro career.
Now playing for AFC Toronto in the newly launched Northern Super League, Okoronkwo continues to shine.
On May 1, 2025, she scored a memorable brace in Toronto’s historic 2–1 win over Calgary Wild FC—the club’s first-ever league victory.
