Edo State Deputy Governor Comrade Philip Shaibu has reflected on the absence of their star player Imade Osarenkhoe and how it has affected Bendel Insurance, emphasizing the significant void left by his departure, and stating that they deeply miss him.
The Edo Deputy Governor stated this when he made a surprise visit to the Bendel Insurance football club of Benin during their evening training, where he encouraged the team to stay focused.

After the training, Comrade Philip Shaibu, speaking to the journalists, expressed his gratitude that Bendel Insurance remained undefeated.
He reiterated the purpose behind the recent recruitments before the season started, stating, “We’ve added quality players to our existing team to maintain our unbeaten streak.”
Shaibu acknowledged that the upcoming league season would be demanding, with each team playing 38 matches.
He emphasized their efforts to prepare the team for this extended season, ensuring players’ fitness and injury prevention.
He noted that they are confident in the team’s ability to handle the high level of competition.
Bendel Insurance, he stated, is a formidable team and they are aware of it, which is why they have bolstered the squad.
Shaibu mentioned that one player they miss so badly is Imade Osarenkhoe, who had moved to the United Arab Emirates last month.
He revealed having conversation with Imade and expressed hope for his call-up to the national team soon. He also highlighted the success of their players abroad.
The Deputy Governor encouraged the people of Edo to come out in support of Bendel Insurance, not only by attending matches but also by offering their prayers for the team’s success.
