Nigerian international – Victor Moses, admits he is devastated about the injury he sustained during their match the previous weekend but promises to come back stronger.
Victor Moses, the former Super Eagles winger, will be out for an extended period of time after tearing his Achilles while playing for his team – Spartak Moscow.
The club announced in a press release that the Nigerian, who suffered an injury during the league match against Ural over the weekend, will require surgery.
The 31-year-old will need surgery after suffering the injury during the team’s 2-0 victory over Ural on Saturday in the Russian Premier League.
In the 33rd minute of the game, Victor Moses was stretched off and Mikhail Ignatov took his place.
He damaged his Achilles, as revealed by the MRI scan, and will require surgery to have it fixed.
However, the Nigerian stated that he will do everything in his power to recuperate and return to full fitness as soon as possible to help the club, and he thanked his supporters for their unwavering support.

The former Chelsea winger, who has been heavily linked with a move back to England in recent months, has scored twice in four league games so far this season while also winning match-of-the-match honors.
Moses, who has probably been Spartak Moscow’s greatest player thus far this season, will now likely miss six months of action.
