On the 150th anniversary of the Glasgow club’s establishment, it seemed as if they might experience a major blow in their title defence as Jim Goodwin’s Dons drilled down and limited the Glasgow club to few clean opportunities.

Roofe came off the bench in the 78th minute and delivered three minutes later to calm the home crowd and put pressure on their city rivals, who will travel to Livingston later today, where they haven’t won since 2007.

For a long period of time in the game, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team was disappointed, but they ended up finding the breakthrough. Within the final ten minutes, Kemar Roofe grabbed the game’s lone goal.
