Dele Alli is looking set to have his medical before completing a permanent transfer from Tottenham to Everton, which could cost up to £40 million.
Bill Kenwright, the chairman of Everton, met with Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, in his London office to discuss a possible transfer deal for Dele Alli.
Initially, it was anticipated that any deal would take a long time to complete, but it is now reported that progress has been made in negotiations, and the player has been scheduled for a medical.
The 25-year-old will be hoping to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Frank Lampard side and the transfer fee will be based around the midfielder’s performance at Goodison park.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter;
“Dele Alli to Everton, done deal and here we go! Full agreement reached with Tottenham, permanent move subject to medical in the next few hours. It’s done. 🔵🤝 #EFC
Frank Lampard wanted Dele after van de Beek – official announcement later today.”
