The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL Super Six competition’s new date has once more been confirmed by the Interim Management Committee (IMC).
The competition that will decide the NPFL season champion in 2022–2023 has been rescheduled twice.
June 3 will mark the start of the NPFL Super Six and the IMC has also announced that the competition will end on June 11.
The competition will still take place in Onikan, Lagos, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
Below is the Calendar of events for the 2022/2023 championship play-off
So far, things are going well; only Rivers United, Bendel Insurance, and Lobi Stars have formally qualified for the Super Six.
After matchday 18’s final contests this weekend, the other three teams will be decided.
Nigeria will be represented in the CAF Champions League the next year by the teams who finish first and second, respectively, on the Super Six table.
The CAF Confederation Cup will be played for by the third-placed team.
