Adams exited the match in the 77th minute, making way for the potentially Chelsea-bound striker, Elye Wahi.

Despite Adams’ impactful 60th-minute goal, which came from two of his on-target shots, Montpellier was denied victory as Le Havre’s Samuel Grandsir equalized in the 90th minute.

During the game, Adams did not only show his goal-scoring abilities but also his well-rounded game, contributing defensively by winning two out of four ground duels and all of his aerial duels, alongside making 21 significant touches throughout the match.

Looking ahead, Montpellier’s next challenge is set for August 19 against Lyon at the Groupama Stadium, their opponent’s home turf.
