Super Falcons forward Joy Omewa has found her scoring boots once again, finding the back of the net to lead Nottingham Forest to a hard-earned victory over Ipswich Town in their Women’s Super League 2 clash on Sunday afternoon.
Omewa scored the opening goal of the encounter as Forest managed to grind out a 2-0 win over the visitors at the City Ground, Footballrover reports.

It took the Nigerian international just 28 minutes to fire the hosts ahead, slotting a right-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom-right corner.
Her clinical finish was enough to hand Forest a slim lead heading into the break and marked her second goal for the club.

Forest wasted no time doubling their lead after the interval.
Barely two minutes after the restart, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah finished off a lightning-fast break, firing a right-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom-left corner.
Omewa put in a solid 64-minute shift before making way for Tove Almqvist, and Forest held firm to see out the match and claim all three points.
