Anayo Iwuala Opens Scoring as Al-Arabi Gains Momentum
The first half was tense, with both sides struggling to create clear chances. Al-Arabi controlled possession and looked more composed, but Al Fahahel’s defence remained disciplined, keeping the score level at halftime.
Six minutes after the break, Zaid Qunbar broke the deadlock with a precise finish following a clever combination with Iwuala, giving Al-Arabi the lead. The goal sparked confidence and allowed the Nigerian duo to dictate play.
Christopher John Seals the Win for Al-Arabi
Ten minutes later, John doubled the advantage with a confident strike, putting the result beyond doubt.
From that point on, Al Fahaheel struggled to mount any serious threat, as Al‑Arabi’s defence remained solid and disciplined.
The victory not only propels Al‑Arabi into the final but also shows their strong form in cup competitions this season.
Al Fahaheel, despite showing moments of promise, will need to regroup after failing to capitalise on opportunities, only to finish with a man down in the 95th minute.
