Hertha Berlin have officially confirmed the signing of Nigeria international – Chidera Ejuke from Russian elite division side CSKA Moscow.
The Super Eagles winger, Chidera Ejuke joined German Bundesliga side, Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan from CSKA Moscow.
The forward will represent the German top-flight side for the 2022-23 season after suspending his contract with CSKA Moscow
The Nigerian international terminated his contract with the Horses by using the Fifa-approved guidelines for temporary employment.
Prior to making a comeback at the VEB Arena in 2023, Ejuke will now play for the Old Lady.

The 24-year-old revealed why he choose the club and expressed his joy at his new task in Germany.
“I can’t wait to meet the lads and the staff. I know that last season didn’t go to plan, but we’re all here together now to start a new campaign – and I want to have some great moments with the team.” – Chidera Ejuke told the club website
Chidera Ejuke becomes the second African in Hertha’s lineup following former Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng and will wear jersey number 40.
Recall that the Super Eagles man signed a four-year deal with the Moscow-based team on August 28, 2020, for an undisclosed sum after stints at Gombe United, Valerenga, and Heerenveen.
