Nigerian sensation Mustapha Isah delivered a show-stopping performance, inspiring his team, Kristiansund BK, to NM Cup victory on Wednesday night.

His incredible assist proved vital, guiding Kristiansund to the NM Cup semi-finals after a thrilling battle with Stabæk, Footballrover reports.
Mustapha Isah’s rising star: Three assists in two games
While Isah truly stole the show, it was a tough night for his fellow Nigerian, Wilfred George Igor, who saw a red card early, leaving his team at a disadvantage.
Just before this crucial match, 20-year-old Mustapha Isah had already bagged two assists in Kristiansund BK’s impressive 4-1 home victory over Rosenborg in their last outing.

This takes his assist tally to a remarkable three in just two games, showing how he’s beginning to influence the team on the field.
He also boasts two goals this season, proving he’s a threat in front of goal too.
The NM Cup quarter-final at Nadderud Stadion was a nail-biter. Stabæk drew first blood after just 11 minutes, with Magnus Lankhof-Dahlby finding the net.
But Kristiansund BK quickly turned the tide. Niklas Ødegård levelled the score in the 27th minute, thanks to an assist from Ruben Kristensen Alte.
However, the game took a dramatic turn when Wilfred George Igor received his second yellow card in the 34th minute, leaving Kristiansund BK with ten men.
Isah’s magic levels the score and penalty shootout drama
Despite being a man down, Kristiansund BK fought hard. Stabæk managed to regain the lead in the 62nd minute through Oskar Spiten-Nysæter.
But Kristiansund hit back instantly! Just a minute later, David Tufekcic equalised, and guess who set him up? None other than Mustapha Isah, delivering another important assist.

With the score tied at 2-2 after regular time and extra time couldn’t break the deadlock, the match went to a tense penalty shootout.
Kristiansund held their nerve, sealing a dominant 4-1 win. Alioune Ndour, Rezan Corlu, Mustapha Isah, and Awet Ermias Alemseged all coolly converted their spot kicks.
Stabæk, however, faltered, with Nicolai Næss and Kristian Lønstad Onsrud missing their chances, sending Kristiansund BK gloriously through to the next round!
Kristiansund BK now looks forward to facing Lillestrøm in the semi-final round, scheduled for Wednesday, July 9th.
It’s clear that with Mustapha Isah’s recent performance, he will continue to push Kristiansund to NM Cup glory.
