Despite Newcastle dominating possession in the first half, Forest had more shots on target, setting the stage for their turnaround in the second period.
The former Newcastle star Chris Wood stole the show, netting a sublime hat-trick that not only equalised Alexander Isak’s first-half penalty but also propelled Forest five points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone.
