Olufemi Kayode, a former Enyimba shot-stopper, has inked a two-year deal with the option for renewal.

standing at an impressive 189cm, Olufemi Kayode is a Nigerian international with a wealth of experience, having plied his trade in the Nigeria top-flight league and participated in CAF-organized club competitions.

Before making his move to Golden Arrows, the talented goalkeeper spent several years of his professional career with NPFL side Akwa United F.C. in Uyo.

He later joined Lobi Stars of Markurdi for a year-long stint. In 2019, Olufemi Kayode caught the attention of the nine-time NPFL champions, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba.

During his time with Enyimba, he had the privilege of participating in multiple CAF Champions and Confederation games, showcasing his skills on the continental stage.

After his stint in Aba, Olufemi Kayode continued his football journey and landed in Akure, where he joined forces with Sunshine Stars F.C.

This was his final club in Nigeria, and he enjoyed a remarkable run of form with the ‘Akure Gunners’ before being scouted by Golden Arrows.

Olufemi Kayode becomes the second Nigerian goalkeeper in the South African DStv Premiership, alongside Stanley Nwabili, who plays for Chippa United F.C.
