Leroy Sane played a neat lofted pass into the box for Osimhen, who beat his defender in the air to plant a powerful header into the right side of the net, giving his side a slim lead heading into the break.
Seventeen minutes into the second half, Leroy Sane made a reckless tackle on his opponent and was sent off by the referee, reducing the visitors to ten men.
However, the defending champions held on to their slim lead to secure the victory and claim all three points, building momentum ahead of their Champions League clash with Liverpool on Tuesday.
