The Super Falcons of Nigeria showed exactly why they are ten-time African women’s champions with a convincing 3–1 victory over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in Tuesday evening’s friendly encounter.
Goals from Chinwendu Ihezuo, Rinsola Babajide and Michelle Alozie were enough for Nigeria to rally from a goal down and secure an emphatic victory over their hosts in Yaoundé, Footballrover reports.

Cameroon struck first in the seventh minute through Kiki Meva, who capitalised on an early opportunity to give her side the perfect start.
The goal lifted the tempo of the contest, with Nigeria forced to respond quickly to avoid suffering a second defeat to Cameroon.
The Falcons reacted positively, staying on the front foot and pressing for an equaliser.
Nigeria found their breakthrough in the 32nd minute through Chinwendu Ihezuo, who restored parity in fine fashion.
Ihezuo rose highest to power home a cross from Rinsola Babajide, bringing the Falcons level.
Just two minutes before the interval, Babajide delivered a crucial blow to complete the turnaround.
After a scramble in the box, the AS Roma forward — who had assisted the first goal — fired Nigeria into the lead.

Her timely strike ensured the Falcons headed into the break with a 2-1 advantage after an entertaining first 45 minutes.
Nineteen minutes after the restart, Michelle Alozie found the back of the net with a powerful header off Rasheedat Ajibade’s cross to extend the Falcons’ lead.
It was an evenly contested double-header friendly, with Cameroon claiming a 1–0 victory in the first leg, while the ten-time African champions asserted their dominance in the return fixture.
