Paul Pogba has been ruled out of Manchester United squad and is unlikely to feature for the Red Devils again this season.
In the early stages of Tuesday night’s 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, the France international suffered a calf injury, and Jesse Lingard was brought on as a substitute.
Scans revealed that the injury will keep the former United Academy product out of action for roughly a month, and with five games remaining, it is unlikely that he will play in the next five games.
“With Paul, it seems, after the scan we did yesterday or the day before yesterday, it’s very unlikely that he will play until the end of the season again,” – Ralf Rangnick said in his pre-match press conference, before the game at Arsenal on Saturday.”

He added that;
“The doctor told me that it will take four weeks, minimum, for him to recover and, since the last game is at the end of May, I don’t think it’s very likely that he will be able to play again.”
Pogba has made 27 appearances for United this season, as well as seven for France, and has only scored once for the Reds this season, in a 1-1 draw at Burnley in February.
Since August, he has a total of nine assists in 20 Premier League appearances.
The present deal of the 29-year-old at Old Trafford is set to expire in the summer.
