Nathan Owolabi, a 23-year-old Nigerian football gamer, has made headlines after being hired by Bromley FC, a newly promoted League Two side, in a role that combines his passion for Football Manager with real-life coaching experience.
Contrary to earlier reports, Owolabi did not secure the job solely based on his Football Manager skills, but rather through a partnership between the club, Xbox, and Football Manager.
As a Support Performance Tactician, Owolabi will work alongside Manager Andy Woodman and the coaching staff to gain hands-on experience and insight into tactical decision-making.
