Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho had an impressive outing on Sunday evening, delivering yet another goal contribution to lead Celtic to a well-deserved victory over Partick Thistle during their League Cup quarter-final clash.
Iheanacho provided the third goal of the encounter as the Hoops crushed their hosts 3-0 at the Firhill Stadium, Footballrover reports.

After coming off the bench to grab the match-winning goal on his debut—leading the Hoops to a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock in their last outing—Iheanacho was given a starting role this time, and he delivered.
The Nigerian international saw 59 minutes of action before making way for Daizen Maeda.
The visitors started the game on the front foot when Benjamin Nygren combined well with Hyun-Jun Yang to open the scoring just 26 minutes into the game.
Two minutes later, Liam Scales doubled their advantage, and they carried a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.

Just after the restart, Kelechi Iheanacho produced his magic to ensure Sebastian Tounekti extended the lead to 3-0.
With 11 minutes left before stoppage time, Luke McCowan wrapped up the game with the fourth goal to seal the Hoops’ passage to the next round of the competition.
Iheanacho and his new teammates will now ride this momentum heading into their next fixture against FK Crvena Zvezda in the Europa League on Wednesday.
