Odion Ighalo can’t seem to get enough of his former club – Al Shabab, as he scored the game-winning goal in extra time to take Al Hilal to the Saudi Kings Cup final.

The final score saw Al Shabab, fall to a 2-1 defeat during the semi final clash as the Super Eagles’ star man’s goal gave Al Hilal a hard-fought victory on Sunday night.

The former Manchester United striker stunned Al Shabab once more with his goal-scoring prowess just few days after returning from the international break.

With a penalty shot, Γ‰ver Banega broke the deadlock for the visitors in 63rd minute, before Salman Al-Faraj hauled his team back into the game nine minutes later.

After 105 minutes of play, Ighalo scored the game-winning goal to send the RamΓ³n Daz team to the final.

Al Shabab’s defenders were unable to stop the Nigerian international, who scored a remarkable goal from outside the 18-yard box to give his team the victory.

The goal earns the 32-year-old his 23rd goal of the 2021/2022 season in all competitions. In the final, they will face either Al-Fayha or Al-Ittihad.

Al Shabab will be looking to bounce back from the defeat when they take on Mumbai City in AFC Champions League Group stage on Friday, April 8.
