Fenerbahce are moving quickly to sign Ademola Lookman, the Super Eagles star who led the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 in goal contributions.

The Turkish giants are reportedly prepared to offer over €35 million to secure the Nigerian winger from Atalanta, signaling serious intent to strengthen their squad, Footballrover reports.

La Dea are said to be considering a €40 million package, including bonuses, to let Lookman leave Bergamo.

Despite interest from Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahce currently appear to be ahead in the race.

Sporting director Devin Özek has traveled to Italy to advance talks, confirming the negotiations are progressing seriously.

Lookman, 28, had explored a move last summer, attracting enquiries from Inter Milan and Bayern Munich, but no deals materialised.

This season, he has featured in 19 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists, a shadow of last term’s 20-goal, six-assist haul that helped Atalanta finish third in Serie A.
