Despite delivering a solid performance and scoring a key goal, Ighalo and his teammates found themselves mired in a five-match winless streak, comprising three losses and two draws, Footballrover reports.

In the latest match at King Abdul Aziz Stadium, Al Wehda started positively, with Meshal Al-Alaeli putting the team ahead within the first five minutes.

However, their defence faltered as Al Feiha equalised in the 74th minute through Alejandro Pozuelo.

Ighalo quickly restored the lead with a goal just eight minutes later, marking his third goal of the season.

Despite his impressive contributions, including 22 touches and four shots on target, Al Wehda was unable to hold on, conceding a penalty in stoppage time, which Fashion Sakala converted to level the match.

Ighalo’s commitment to recovery
Frustrated by the recent results, Ighalo took to social media to share his resolve, saying,

Reset, restart, refocus. But don’t you dare give up on your dreams.”

This message obviously goes deeply straight to both the players and the fans as the team prepares for its upcoming match against Al-Raed later today.

In light of the disheartening winless run, could it be that Ighalo has just dropped a cryptic message, revealing three urgent strategies his team must implement to reignite their ambitions?

Firstly, he emphasises the need for a mental reset, urging his teammates to clear their minds of past disappointments.

Secondly, he advocates for a tactical overhaul, focussing on strengthening their defence to prevent late-game collapses.
